Monday, May 18 – Arrival day and getting to know each other
Welcome to Sicily! After your arrival and check-in at the hotel "La Dimora di Spartivento," exclusively reserved for us, we will start together into an unforgettable week. During the joint dinner and subsequent get-to-know-you social, you will have the opportunity to make first contacts and get in the mood for a fantastic dance week.

Daily schedule (Tuesday to Sunday)

• Breakfast: Start the day relaxed together
• 10:00–12:00: Bachata workshop with Kiko & Christina
• Lunch: Enjoy delicious Sicilian specialties in a sociable setting
• 16:00–18:00: Bachata workshop with Kiko & Christina
• Dinner: Culinary highlights and exchange with other participants
• 21:00–00:00: Social dance – Practice what you learned in a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere and dance with all participants.

Thursday and Sunday – Excursions to Ragusa and Modica
On Thursday and Sunday, we offer two exciting excursions to the enchanting Baroque cities of Ragusa and Modica. Discover the highlights of these beautiful places:

• Ragusa: Let yourself be enchanted by the picturesque old town of Ragusa Ibla with its Baroque churches, charming alleys, and breathtaking views.
• Modica: Known for its impressive architecture and world-famous, unique chocolate – ideal for experiencing Sicily with all your senses.

The excursion on Sunday takes place in the late afternoon and, if possible, culminates in a concluding social dance event on site. Look forward to a special dance evening either in Ragusa or Modica – a perfect conclusion to the dance trip!

Saturday evening – The Sicilian themed party
On Saturday, another highlight awaits you: Our exclusive, colorful Sicilian themed party, which will also be open to local dancers. Immerse yourself in a lively atmosphere, enjoy delicious cocktails at the open bar, and dance to the best Bachata beats. Be creative and colorful – we look forward to original outfits in Sicilian style!

Joint cooking class
During the week, there will also be a joint cooking class where you can prepare and enjoy Sicilian dishes yourself. A great shared experience full of flavor and fun.

Individual leisure activities
In addition to the planned program, you will always have enough free time to explore the island on your own, relax at the hotel, or simply unwind. If you wish, you can rent a car at Catania Airport and discover Sicily individually – free parking is available at the hotel.

For solo travelers:

• Single room standard (limited): 1999 CHF → now only 1599 CHF (early bird, you save 400 CHF)
• Double room standard (shared room, same gender): 1799 CHF → now only 1399 CHF (early bird, you save 400 CHF)
• Double room superior (shared room, same gender): 1899 CHF → now only 1499 CHF (early bird, you save 400 CHF)

For dance couples (automatically 2 tickets + 50 CHF discount per booking):

• Double room standard: 1799 CHF → now only 1349 CHF per person (early bird, you save 450 CHF)
• Double room superior: 1899 CHF → now only 1449 CHF per person (early bird, you save 450 CHF)
• Double room suite (only for couples): 1999 CHF → now only 1549 CHF per person (early bird, you save 450 CHF)

Important booking notes:

• Dance partners are welcome, but not necessary – we rotate during the lessons.
• When booking, you can indicate in the comment field with whom you would like to share the room. Otherwise, allocation will be made by gender.
• The number of single rooms is limited.
• Flights are not included in the price. The transfer from Catania airport to the hotel is in planning.

Cancellation conditions:

• Up to 7 days after booking (if more than 60 days before the start of the trip): 10% processing fee
• Up to 90 days before the start of the trip: 20%
• 89–60 days before the start of the trip: 40%
• 59–30 days before the start of the trip: 60%
• Less than 30 days before the start of the trip: no refund

The cancellation must be made in writing. A rebooking to another person is possible up to 30 days before the start of the trip.

We recommend taking out travel insurance, as this is not included in the package.

Booking early is worthwhile! The spots are limited – the earlier you book, the more you save!

Your destination: Sicily – La Dimora di Spartivento
Our dance trip takes you to the beautiful Italian island of Sicily. You will be accommodated in the charming hotel La Dimora di Spartivento near Ragusa. The stylish country house is exclusively reserved for our group and offers you a relaxed, family atmosphere with plenty of space to enjoy, relax, and of course, dance.

The hotel offers:

• Quiet, sunny location with a view of the countryside
• Comfortable rooms in various categories (Standard, Superior, Suite)
• Pool area with sun loungers
• Full board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Soft drinks included, alcoholic beverages separately
• Free Wi-Fi and private parking

How to reach us:
The nearest airport is Catania (CTA). From there, we organize the shared transfer to the hotel, which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes . More detailed information about transfer times and meeting points will be provided in good time before the trip.

Flight booking:
Arrival and departure are individual. Flights are not included in the travel price. We recommend booking your flight to Catania early to take advantage of favorable prices.

For self-drivers:
If you want to explore the island on your own, you can rent a car at the airport. The hotel offers you free private parking . The region around Ragusa is excellent for small excursions in between.

Note: The hotel is fully reserved for our group – you will share this unique week exclusively with other dance enthusiasts. Enjoy the exclusive atmosphere without any outside guests!

Damit deine Buchung reibungslos verläuft und du dich rundum wohlfühlst, findest du hier alle wichtigen Informationen zur Zimmerwahl und Buchungsabwicklung:

Zimmerkategorien:

Zur Auswahl stehen Standard- und Superior-Zimmer sowie exklusive Suiten (nur für Tanzpaare). Du kannst als Einzelperson ein Einzelzimmer buchen (limitiert verfügbar) oder ein Doppelzimmer, das du mit einer gleichgeschlechtlichen Person teilst.

Doppelzimmerbelegung:

Wenn du allein reist und ein Doppelzimmer buchst, teilen wir dich mit einer anderen Person gleichen Geschlechts ein. Gib bei der Buchung im Kommentarfeld an, mit wem du das Zimmer teilen möchtest – wenn die genannte Person dich ebenfalls in ihrer Buchung nennt, werden wir euch gemeinsam einteilen. Sollten wir keine Angaben erhalten, übernehmen wir die Zuteilung nach Geschlecht.

Leader & Follower:

Die Buchung erfolgt über die Tanzrolle: Leader oder Follower – unabhängig vom Geschlecht. Diese Angabe ist verpflichtend, damit wir eine ausgewogene Tanzverteilung in den Workshops gewährleisten können. Du musst dich beim Buchen für eine Rolle entscheiden, in der du während der gesamten Woche tanzen wirst. Die Plätze für beide Rollen sind limitiert, um sicherzustellen, dass jede Person auch einen Tanzpartner hat.

Bitte gib bei der Buchung im Kommentarfeld dein Geschlecht an, damit wir die Zimmerzuteilung entsprechend korrekt vornehmen können. Ohne diese Angabe kann es sonst passieren, dass du mit einer fremden Person anderen Geschlechts im Zimmer untergebracht wirst, wenn ihr zufällig dieselbe Tanzrolle gewählt habt.

Tanzpaare:

Wenn du als Tanzpaar buchst, werden automatisch zwei Plätze reserviert – der Preis wird entsprechend für beide Personen angezeigt. Das Zimmer wird gemäß eurer gewählten Kategorie (Standard, Superior oder Suite) exklusiv für euch zugeteilt. Als Dankeschön erhaltet ihr zusätzlich 50 Rabatt auf die gesamte Buchung. Bitte gib im Kommentarfeld den Namen deines Partners bzw. deiner Partnerin an.

Zimmerverfügbarkeit:

Die Anzahl an Einzelzimmern ist stark limitiert. Wenn du sicher allein wohnen möchtest, empfehlen wir eine frühzeitige Buchung. Doppelzimmer sind in grösserer Zahl verfügbar, auch für Alleinreisende.

Wichtig:

• Die Zimmerverteilung erfolgt geschlechtergetrennt (außer bei Buchung als Paar oder auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch).

• Eine gleichgeschlechtliche Paarbuchung ist selbstverständlich möglich.

To fully enjoy your dance trip, we have compiled the most important notes and guidelines for you:

Participation Requirements:

• You should have completed at least one Bachata basic course. Absolute beginners cannot participate in this trip.
• You must be of legal age and allowed to travel independently.

Dance Partners:

• You can travel alone, with friends, or as a dance couple.
• A personal dance partner is not necessary – we encourage dancing together with partner changes in the workshops.

Languages:

• The lessons are conducted in English.
• If necessary, we also teach bilingually in German or Spanish.

Room Allocation:

• If you book a double room, you will be accommodated with a same-sex person unless you specify a preferred partner.
• Single rooms are only available in limited numbers.

Dance Couples:

• When booking as a dance couple, two spots are automatically reserved.
• Please indicate in the comments field who you are traveling with.
• Dance couples receive an additional discount per booking.

Early Bird Discount:

• Booking early pays off! The spots are limited and are allocated on a "first come, first served" basis.
• The early bird prices are only valid for a limited time.

Personal Responsibility & Insurance:

• Participation is at your own risk.
• We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellation costs and medical services.

Cancellation by the Organizer:

• If the trip cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you immediately. You will receive either a refund, a rebooking option, or a travel credit.
